Minco Tech India Pvt. Ltd. was founded by Mr. Anil Kumar Bagaria, a veteran of the steel measurement industry with over 40 years of personal experience in thermocouple technology and molten metal measurement. His deep technical knowledge of what steel plants actually need — reliability, repeatability, and fast service — became the foundation of everything Minco builds.

In 1990, Mr. Bagaria established the company in Kolkata with a clear conviction: Indian steel plants deserved a world-class domestic supplier. Not a dependency on expensive imports with long lead times, but a trusted Indian manufacturer that could deliver precision probes, on time, with full technical support.

Thirty-four years later, that vision has been validated by 26+ global clients across India, the Middle East, North Africa, Bangladesh and Japan — including the country's largest steel producers.

Mr. Anil Kumar Bagaria

Founder & Chairman — Minco Tech India Pvt. Ltd.

With over 40 years in the thermocouple and molten metal measurement industry, Mr. Anil Kumar Bagaria is one of India's most experienced specialists in steel plant measurement technology. His career spans the complete arc of India's steel industry growth — from the early days of import dependency to building a globally recognised Indian brand.

Mr. Bagaria founded Minco in Kolkata in 1990 with the singular goal of creating a domestically manufactured alternative to imported probes — without compromise on technical quality. His hands-on knowledge of converter processes, oxygen measurement chemistry, and the practical realities of steel plant operations has shaped every product Minco makes.

Shantam Bagaria

Director — Manufacturing & Operations

A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Lancaster University, UK, Shantam Bagaria joined Minco from the factory floor up — combining international engineering rigour with hands-on manufacturing experience. Since taking charge of operations, he has modernised production processes, upgraded quality systems, and strengthened direct technical engagement with steel plant clients across India and overseas.
