Pin Immersion Samplers for Hydrogen Analysis

Sampling with evacuated metal samplers is a quick, efficient, one-person procedure.The sampler is immersed in molten metal for 1 to 3 seconds and, after rapid chilling in Nitrogen,the sampler is placed directly into the analyzer. The same sample is analyzed for both diffusible and residual hydrogen.The sampler is used to obtain samples from a furnace, ladle, LMF, ingot mold, caster mold, or tundish.
